Jonah's Journey
The story of Jonah and the whale has always been a favorite Bible story among the children. The story of Jonah teaches all about the importance of being obedient to God. It is with this story in mind that the younger children of the parish pray and work towards being obedient children of God. Activities for Jonah’s Journey include our Christmas Pageant, Talent Shows, Crafts, Field Trips and much more!
Our Choir
The Choir Lutnia is comprised of parish musicians and singers whose purpose is to offer praise and glory to God through music. The choir sings for the 9 am Holy Mass every Sunday and for Holy Days of Obligation, Advent and Lenten Services, and for other services and special occasions throughout the year. One of the most conspicuous aspects of the Choir Lutnia is the sheer enjoyment we get from singing! Each member brings a unique quality to the choir. Our love for God manifests itself through our voices and our commitment to Christ inspires us to do our best for Him. We welcome anyone who would like to use their musical talents to praise God to join us. The choir rehearses weekly on Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m.
The ANS
The role of the ANS is to maintain a reverential vigil before the Blessed Sacrament during Holy Mass and Benediction. The women who have embraced this ministry are also responsible for the care of various linens, vessels, and vestments used in the sanctuary and sacristy of the church and the physical care of the sanctuary. ANS members take part in a variety of fund-raising and outreach events and projects, including the Cycle of Prayer for each of the parishes within the Central Diocese of the PNCC.
For Our Children
The PTO of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Czestochowa Parish provides support for the instruction of our youth in the School of Christian Living (SOCL)
For the Men
The organization promotes fellowship through various activities such as fund raisers, dinners, outings, and various recreational activities. We also serve as greeters at the entrance to church and greet people as they arrive for Mass or other liturgical service. We welcome people as they come in to church, and provide assistance, as needed, to anyone who is entering the church.
